Star Wars: The Old Republic
Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMO RPG based upon Star Wars lore. I've played it myself and found the experiencing very rewarding, however, it's based upon old classic console games of Star Wars franchise known as Knights of the Old Republic. There are two games within the series.

These console games set the groundwork for what a Star Wars RPG is expected to be. Star Wars: The Old Republic is mostly an RPG game than it is an MMO game, but that's not to say there isn't MMO features everywhere you go, it's just garner the satisfaction of a happy-healthy experience of the MMO universe is stereotypical co-dependent on uncontrollable factors or real life such as money.
I remember trying to play Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic when it came out of Xbox. I was too young and the themes were mature enough that I was mostly lost, however, thankfully my mother understood the game and was able to navigate it. I learned so much from watching her play the series, I felt I could take on Star Wars: The Old Republic when it came out, however, considering the aforementioned problem, it is actually rather difficult just like playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic when I was young. I think my highest ranking was somewhere between levels 20-30.
The reality though is that nothing else besides a lightsaber is quite like a flaming sword when it comes to interpretation of the Holy Bible. So if you haven't checked out anything about Star Wars yet, I highly recommend you do. More recently Disney took over the Star Wars franchise even though originally the hot shots were up to George Lucas.
Considering George Lucas' age, obviously someone had to take over the franchise, however, many fans were distraught at first that the licenses went to Disney. So far, Disney has featured Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9, but also a variety of extra shows. Here's pictures of all the available shows:
That's a whole lot of Star Wars to intend on only making one post, HOWEVER, there is only one new Star Wars game out that has a story line besides obvious games like Star Wars: Battlefront 4 and Star Wars: The Old Republic and that's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor:
As you can see, there is plenty of media still worth re-visiting of the franchise, such as the video game KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic):
