Modern Day Greek Mythology
As you all know modern day Greek mythology can be found in video games, movies and TV shows nowadays. Nintendo's take on Greek mythology first featured Zagreus, son of Hades:
Hades II featuring Melinoe, daughter of Hades:
There's also boy wonder of Zeus, Heron:
Greek mythology in modern times has long been ignored and other wise misinterpreted due to religious differing on the topic. Most people know about the Titanomachy but haven't heard from or heard of their favorites Gods since then. When Christianity comes about, it's all about Jesus, but Jesus himself was just one of the many Greek Gods ultimately. Greek making a comeback is no surprise. Too much of modern-day culture is being revolved around tasteless remakes of superheroes and demoralization of humanitarian principles where people more than ever love to hear about their favorite Gods, including the all-famous Jesus Christ which most political battles are being fought over in this Illuminati-VS-The-World dialogue we see every day.
Due to so many apocalyptical hysterics of the age we live in, most people obsess over Jesus Christ as God, but throughout the scriptures Jesus claims only to be an emissary of God and seeks God's repentance during his crucifixion. God has mercy and allows him to continue his life in Heaven. Still to this day, people worship Jesus Christ as God, even though clearly the scriptures in and of themself would naturally deter such behavior when interpreted correctly.
Perhaps it is because of Jesus' ability to garner forgiveness that people still obsess over his image. God though created Revelation for such a time where people do just that. There are of course people faithful to God who don't seek Jesus Christ as an absolution from sin, and yet don't have much luck in the political arena themselves. From time to time, those who believe in Jesus Christ actually do win the debate. It's never not been exciting to live and learn from this scheme of things, but then there is also survival in these times, which, as you know, I'm your host for the Legend of Nothing! Ever been in a conversation with someone and they say, "Nothing."? Such a strange occurrence. Perhaps my blog can figure out for you what you cannot figure out for yourself. Stay tuned as a post on the apocalypse is coming your way soon!
